How to find your router IP address?

Your router’s IP address is what you type in your browser’s address bar to access the web interface to manage Wi-Fi settings, setup guest networks, and more network settings. You can usually find the default IP address printed on a sticker on the back of the router. The most common IP addresses are 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.0.1.

This guide covers how to find your router IP address on every major operating systems including Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS.

Note: The steps may vary depending on the Android device and operating system version.

  1. Tap on Settings icon.
  2. Tap on Network & internet.
  3. Tap on Wi-Fi.
  4. Tap your Wi-Fi name and enter the Wi-Fi password.
  5. Tap on the gear icon.
  6. Scroll down to find your Gateway IP address.

iOS

  1. Tap Settings .
  2. Tap Wi-Fi.
  3. Tap on the icon.
  4. Scroll down and the Router IP address will be displayed.

Windows

Note: Steps may vary depending on the version of your Windows operating system.

You can find your router IP address through Settings and Command Prompt. Find both the steps below:

Via Settings

  1. Select Start .
  2. Select Settings .
  3. From the sidebar menu, select Network & internet.
  4. Scroll down and select Advanced network settings.
  5. Under More settings, select Hardware and connection properties.
  6. Look for your router IP address listed next to IPv4 default gateway.

Via Command Prompt

  1. Select the Search box located on the taskbar.
  2. Type “cmd” or “Command Prompt“.
  3. Type ipconfig and press enter.
  4. Look for the router IP address listed next to the Default Gateway.

MacOS

  1. Click the Wi-Fi icon in the menu bar and select Wi-Fi Settings.
  2. Click Details next to your connected Wi-Fi network.
  3. Click TCP/IP.
  4. Your router’s IP address is listed as Router.
