At Router WiFi we believe all published works should be created from own experiences, oversight, and time. While generative AI is becoming mainstream we want to stay among those few sites where you can be assured that the information provided is written and verified by a real human. Although we provide and work with large scale databases, the work is manually sourced, verified, and done by our team members. Our data point includes but not limited to device manuals, manufacturer websites, forums, videos, and online articles. Sure the manual labour consumes so much extra time and effort when we could just let AI generate these data, but at the end of the day it’s our job to provide human verified data to our users. We do so that our data is reliable and users assured.
We are not against the adoption of generative AI as we too believe it can be an useful assistant but we enforce a strict No-AI policy in our site. Usage of any AI tools including any paraphrasing tools or writing assistant tools is strictly prohibited. These tools must not be used for formatting the work or even to make it just a little better. Everything must be written/created from personal experience and done so by themselves.
While this has been our internal policy since pre-generative AI time when only paraphrasing and writing assistant tools existed – we are publishing this document so that our users can acknowledge the work that goes behind our site.
